Our  Reflection

William
In the morning, we used TextSTAT to convert the text of the picture book into quantification, and use this system to quickly count the commonly used words and arrange them. Our team believes that we can use the following two methods:
(1) After arranging the words, Let the children see the common points, and then guess the meaning of possible words.
(2) Ask students to circle the word in the whole article, and infer the usage of the word and the possible use of it.
In the afternoon, use the Lexique Pro software to convert the text into a dictionary, so that we can convert the existing words into a dictionary, which is convenient for students to use when reading by themselves

Ting

We can use TextSTAT to pick out high-frequency words in the textbook, and we can focus more on the words that students need and can learn. First, it is convenient for teachers to quickly clarify the teaching focus and goals. Second, study sheets can be designed for these high frequencies. Finally, students can learn about the use and meaning of these high-frequency words by their appearance in different places in the textbook.

Using Lexique Pro, we can turn students' words into dictionaries, providing students with faster queries. And with teaching materials to provide students with tools for independent learning.

Eric

Kenny
Through the TextSTAT software teaching in the morning, it can help me analyze the high-frequency words in the textbook and help us find the teaching focus. Lexique Pro software teaching in the afternoon taught us to make words into dictionaries, which can help students learn new words in textbooks.
