Our Learning process
In CALL, our learning process has two parts. The first part is lexicon to make an online dictionary, the second part is to use lexicon to use dictionary app builder to make a dictionary for mobile phones, and the third part is audacity to make audio e-books and:
first part
1. Convert the picture book into a text file, then use lexicon to find out the words in it, use lexicon to analyze, find out the frequency of each word, and arrange the number of occurrences.
2. Classify the frequency words in Chinese, English, part of speech, Chinese sentences, English sentences and pictures, and create an exclusive dictionary for the picture book through this activity.
3. Record each word and pronunciation through recording software, convert it into mp3 audio file, put it in lexicon, and combine it into a dictionary with sound.
4. The original dictionary is matched with the picture, and the file name of the picture is converted, so that lexicon can automatically integrate the voice and the picture.
the second part
5. Convert it into an app, but unfortunately the original app can only be used in the android system. Turn the original dictionary into an online mobile phone-operable system.
the third part
6. Convert the picture book into animation, use animaker to convert the content of the original picture book into an animated film, and record and match the animation to adapt the original picture book to build your own audiobook.
7. We use audacity recording to mark and edit the original animaker's voice, and match the original picture book text, so that the text can be combined with the sound to produce an audio book.
Through the above seven steps, we convert a children's picture book into an online audiobook with a dedicated dictionary. Students can have the opportunity to self-learn to find the information they want and the words and sentences they cannot learn, and conduct more extended learning.
